From Johnston Architects, came to Town homes, a project that indicated the construction of two similar houses that look as if it were concentrated in one unit. The house is located very close to the beach Bible, which makes a big adventure and also the delight views. Beautiful glass front and wonderful interior design also some strong points of the two houses. The attic is particularly interesting and the fact that second homes have one very strange. We also liked the way the room is set, as it seems very comfortable and convenient. One of the rooms you choose?

The Nature of Dwellings: The Architecture of David Hovey

The Nature of Dwellings: The Architecture of David Hovey

David Hovey is building some of the best modernist houses in the world, and the world is starting to notice. Hovey has made a name for himself as the torchbearer for modern residential design, a designation he shares with a growing number of architects who've returned to pure modernism. His houses merge into the landscapes in which they're situated, and with names like Cloud Chaser and Rain Maker, their ties to the land and climate are made clear. Hovey picks up where Frank Lloyd Wright left off, forging ahead with explorations of simple materials, rectilinear geometries, and structural innovation all in the service of free-flowing floor plans that merge indoor and outdoor into a cohesive whole. An extensive essay examines Hovey's unorthodox approach to architecture and explains how he has managed to build a successful career by staying true to his modernist ideals.

Home Design Idieas : The New Modern House

The New Modern House

Compiling photographs from 40 of the world's most innovative houses, this coffee-table book attempts to "open people's minds... to the potential of residential architecture." Divided into five rather vague categories-Conditions, Materials, Environment, Budget and Aesthetics-this volume presents homes that boldly challenge traditional conceptions of design. For example, the bizarre Natural Ellipse building in Tokyo, described as "two apartments 'vacuum packed' in a gleaming white skin," resembles an enormous egg, and one house in southeast England is economically made of rubber.

The New Modern House

These creations are nicely captured in numerous color photographs, but the introductions that accompany them are less successful. ("Ever since his decision to move out of the cave and get on the property ladder, man has sought out materials to build with," reads the characteristically banal intro to the "Materials" section). The book's design also detracts from the architectural wonder of these homes: the photographs are rarely given the full page that they deserve and are instead crowded by descriptions and blueprint sketches. The projects themselves, though, are creative and often over-the-top, like the glass house in Kent that's designed seamlessly within a plant nursery and the wonderfully innovative "Elemental Housing" project, a colorful solution to low-cost housing in the slums of Chile. This volume will no doubt interest architecture aficionados, but it falls short of being a fascinating introduction to the wonders of new modern design. 300 color illustrations.

This is an amazing modern architecture design of a house in hollywood. This is an inspiring house for you. This is a great idea of architecture. The further description of this modern designed house can be read below:

This is a Hollywood’s House of Modern Architecture Design This house is tucked in the Hollywood Hills. This 7000 square foot piece of architectural splendor, which was designed and built by Temple Home, is not only drop-dead gorgeous it’s really, really smart. Packed to the rafters with top-end technology, it features ‘a CinemaScope theater, 7.1-channel surround-sound, intricate TV concealment, [and] extensive automation’ among other things. No word on how much moo-la it would fetch in the open market, but, as they say, if you have to ask you cannot afford. Contemporary home designs typically provide all of the amenities, conveniences, and comforts afforded by today’s technology. What a wonderful house in a great architecture design idea.

Amazing Building:Villa Pinia by ARK-house Architects in Jurmala, Latvia

Villa Pinia in Jurmala, Latvia was designed by architects ARK-house with Latvian villa style for a four-person family. It is situated on a pine-forested plot near the sea with great natural beauty. The design task was based on a workshop-format competition, in which nine architects or offices from different parts of Europe were invited to participate. ARK-House’s sketch design was chosen as the basis for the final implementation. When designing abroad the lack of knowledge of the foreign culture must partly be replaced by empathising with and throwing oneself into the genius loci. Jurmala in Latvia has a fabled past as the laid-back summer resort of the upper classes during the Soviet era. The beach atmosphere of the spa town conjured up images of the Functionalism of the Baltic States during the 1920s and 1930s, and the optimism associated with it. The main idea behind the design of Villa Pinia is a dialogue between a levitating white rectangle and the dark trunks of the pine trees. On the south side the straight line of the building becomes a free broken line. The timber weatherboarding of the latter facade has been given a reddish brown tone. The colours and materials strive for an imagery derived from boats and ships, a gesture to the preferences of the client and his background as a sea captain. The scale on the yard side is intimate and the interiors continue out as sheltered terraces. All three floors in the interior are also linked by long vistas. A tree has been placed in the internal garden visually linking together all the floors.
