Greater London House

Originally known as The Carreras Building, having been built as a factory for the Carreras Tobacco Company, it is one of London's art-deco treasures. It is said to have been inspired by a temple to the ancient Egyptian cat goddess, Bast (the goddess of perfume, amongst other things). Much of the detail was lost in the early 1960s but replaced when the building was restored in the 1990s.
