The Hotel Monaco at 700 F Street, NW in the Penn Quarter/Chinatown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The hotel occupies an entire city block and is located inside the old General Post Office Building, a National Historic Landmark.
The building, constructed in 1839., was the first all-marble building in Washington, D.C. It was patterned after the Roman Temple of Jupiter.
